You don't need to have read all the books to know that Snape is a tosser! ;) I'm not Dumbledore's biggest fan either - in fact Hogwarts really needs to employ some better teachers. Thank God it has McGonagall, who is an absolute babe.

Thanks for reading and commenting! :DJess @ Jessticulateshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03081569733749956845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8513140108485649021.post-45995910043996876932015-06-05T09:16:20.618+01:002015-06-05T09:16:20.618+01:00I've heard that a lot about Allegiant - sounds...I've heard that a lot about Allegiant - sounds like it really was a good job I gave up when I did!

To be honest most of the contemporary I read I do end up enjoying because I turn to it so rarely, but I agree with you that I'm also often underwhelmed by many contemporary books. I was fairly underwhelmed by Rainbow Rowell, but I've only read one of her books so far so I'll definitely be giving her another chance.

Thanks for reading and commenting! ^_^Jess @ Jessticulateshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03081569733749956845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8513140108485649021.post-29542688693027026042015-06-05T09:14:26.089+01:002015-06-05T09:14:26.089+01:00Hehe, I couldn't resist using it!
I've he...Hehe, I couldn't resist using it!

I've heard a lot of people who were fans of Divergent say they didn't like Allegiant, so I suppose it's probably best that I gave up when I did!

Thanks for reading and commenting, Micheline. ^_^Jess @ Jessticulateshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03081569733749956845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8513140108485649021.post-64561016452267346862015-06-05T00:01:22.098+01:002015-06-05T00:01:22.098+01:00OMG DANCE WITH ME, BECAUSE I HATE SNAPE TOO!! Okay, I've only read the first 4 books, but I already know his tragic backstory (the internet is not kind on people who are late to popular series, hehe. spoilers eeeverywhere) BUT ZOMG. I hate him. There is NOTHING that can convince me that Snape is rightful to absolutely abuse his students. In fact, I partially hate Dumbledore for letting a teacher like Snape teach kids. He torments and abuses and that's psychologically damaging. So how is that okay?! GAH. As you can see, I'm very passionate about my Snape-hate. lolCG @ Paper Furyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14954615708675952085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8513140108485649021.post-39821422863335560372015-06-04T18:58:45.695+01:002015-06-04T18:58:45.695+01:00Ooh I think I'd have to agree with you on cont...Ooh I think I'd have to agree with you on contemporary - I don't tend to read it much, and I'm generally kind of underwhelmed by a lot of contemporaries people seem to truly adore! I finished Divergent but like Micheline, I thought the third book was just all over the place - you probably did yourself a favour DNFing that series if you weren't convinced by Roth's world in the first book, I found it got less plausible the more we learnt!Faithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01393710532281676728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8513140108485649021.post-13390352509650364692015-06-04T14:51:38.537+01:002015-06-04T14:51:38.537+01:00LOL. That asparagus gif XD I don't like Snape...LOL. That asparagus gif XD I don't like Snape either, I mean secretely being on the right side doesn't excuse how cruel he was or what a bully he was to students. I'm sorry but it just doesn't. And I finished the Divergent series despite my issues with the second book, but I really didn't care for the third book. Like, at all. To me the ending didn't make any sense but more than that, the plot for it throughout was a hot mess. Good for you for giving up on it! Awesome post^^ xxMichelinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09220874121683955988noreply@blogger.com
